Past is her world, historic costumes her biggest passion.
Lily von Schatten is a High-Fashion & Prêt-à.couture designer based in Barcelona and specialised in corsets and historical costumes. She made internship and training at Bibian Blue’s atelier in Barcelona, one-year course at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and half-a-year course at Nicolao Atelier (Venice).
She made her studies in Escola d’Arts i Disseny Llotja, Barcelona, and finished on June 2013 with her Opera Prima named The (R)evolutionaries, a vision of the Leonardo da Vinci’s Quattro Potenze theory and the Steampunk and Clockpunk fashion and studied costume design in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, where she discovered one of her biggest passions noticeable in her works.
She has been one of the two head stylists and designers of Elba, the Napoleon Experience®: fashion ( 2014 -2015), a project created by AB-OUT and VisitElba, coordinating more than 26 artisans, artists and tailors, working together with a team of photographers, videomakers and the You360 team, who made the 360º’s panoramic photos, to re-discover this island from Tuscany with a new concept of tourstic and experiential marketing, through the land, their legends and italian and international fashion. This project is sponsorized by CondéNast and has it’s own channel in CNLIVE!. It has also appeared in Vogue Italia, Traveller and Vanity Fair.
Her Sci-Fi, retro-futurist and “beyond the centuries” dresses are done for people who dare to break the laws of fashion, romantic, nostalgic and elegant people, brides and guests who appreciate the “savoir-faire” of the good couture, but also for shows, cinema, theatre and opera.
All of these combinations make possible to readapt every tissue, shape and texture to different occasions and let everyone know that movie costumes can also reach the streets.
